Portable ladders have traditionally been used by window cleaners mainly for cleaning windows on ground, first and second floors. Most falls to window cleaners involve the use of portable ladders.

Economic pressures mean that many householders, workplaces and window cleaners themselves have all accepted such practices as unavoidable risks of the job.

Ultraclean utilise Water Fed Pole Systems and Hydraulic Lifts to negate the use of ladders within their Window Cleaning process. This enables Ultraclean Window Cleans to remain safe and adhere to Health and Safety Executive guidelines.

Ultraclean are an member of the Safe Contractor Health a Safety Assessment Scheme. A scheme promoting higher standards of competence and compliance in Health and Safety

Water Fed Pole System

Water Fed Pole Systems clean windows by brushing off dirt with a soft bristled brush, whilst continuously washing away the dirt with extremely pure water.

Once the windows dry they are spotless due to all the minerals and impurities being removed by the pure water.

Advantages of a water Fed pole system over more traditional methods are:

No need for use of ladders as a water fed pole system can be extended to reach the higher floorsof a building.
Due to the water fed pole system being used from the ground, increases privacy as there is no need to look through higher floor windows.
Increased Safety. There is no risk of falling from ladders using a water fed pole system.
Increased privacy and reduced impact and disturbance, as there is no need to be in front of
a window whilst cleaning it.
